Presented by STELLANTIS and SAMA (Southern Automotive Media Association) at Emerald Club, South Florida.
The star of the event was the Charger Daytona Scat Pack, a fully electric performance machine that delivers Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye-levels of output. According to Ashton Munoz, present at the event, the Scat Pack sprints from 0 to 60 mph in a blistering 3.3 seconds, and covers the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. All of this is made possible by its staggering 670 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful Charger ever produced.
Dodge’s product specialist took the audience through some of the most exciting features built into the Daytona lineup. A key highlight was PowerShot mode, which provides an additional 40 horsepower on demand for short bursts of acceleration — perfect for track use or making a commanding pass on the highway.
This model comes equipped with customizable drive modes, including Drag and Track, and Dodge-exclusive race-prep options that tune suspension, traction, and torque distribution for optimal performance in high-demand scenarios.
Perhaps the most talked-about innovation of the day was the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system — a patented technology that recreates the visceral, chest-thumping exhaust note muscle car enthusiasts crave, without a single drop of gasoline. Rather than relying on silence or artificial beeps, the Daytona emits a signature tactile sound wave that gives the driver an emotional connection to the car, transforming expectations of what an EV can sound like.
The Charger Daytona is Dodge’s proof that the electric age can be loud, proud, and brutally fast.”
The event concluded with demo laps, where select media were able to experience firsthand what Dodge means when it talks about the future of performance. The verdict? Electrified muscle is not just real “ it’s spectacular”.
